never seen it done, but im sure with enough time and effort it could be done.... my buddy has his stock exhaust off his 600RR i wonder if he would let me hack it up to try and fit it.....

i would try and get a 600RR stocker, OR a pipe that is designed to go in there, like an oval Two bros, youll need to make some kind of heat shield, and you will probably have to get some bulk tube and mock up the routing/bends....

I have a F3 and I have been looking into undertail exhaust from other bikes that will work with the F3. The cbr 600 F3 and cb 600,900
use a similar frame. So I think the cb exhaust will work on the F3 and F2 I look at a cb 600 the other day and its the same engine on the F3 so that maybe it would work. I am not sure if it would work on a F4I but the frames are similar but I don't know about the exhaust ports. Check this pictue out you can use this method to go undertail. The mid pipe runs up between the swingarm it looks easy. Good luck.

Alright all this talk got me thinking. Why not??? so I am going to pick up some stock exhaust from a friend of mine tonight. I will get back with you on the Heat shield ideas Maybe some picks of some RR's out there with close ups of the undertail with it on and off. I am going to start hacking it together this week. I will let you know how it goes. Anything is possible right??

I've heard of people doing this before. They had to swap the F4i swing arm for a 600RR swing arm. The F4i swing arm isn't built to run the exhaust under the tail unless you come out and around the swing arm but that would probably look kinda funny. The 600RR swing arm is built for undertail exhaust but i'm not sure about how hard it is to do 600RR swing arm swap. I'm sure there are some how to's somewhere.

I checked it out last night It can be done but it will be tricky. I don't think the swing arm has to go. Yeah its not built for it but lets be honest were not just bolting something on that takes 15min and then writing up a big how to.

Try searching if you havent already. A while ago, I came across a thread where a guy with an F4i made up an undertail exahust...I'm pretty positive he used the F4i swingarm but I cant remember if he had the RR tail or the F4i tail. Eitherway, it looked ok for something custom but all the unnecessary tight bends can negatively affect the flow of the exhaust and decrease the performance of the bike on the F4i.
