ok I know I''m giving my age away here...I am not 21 anymore lol ...I was young then but remember them very well, sort of 70s/80s child ...it was a time I had my whole family and friends around me...I always felt people were happier in those days.....no, I know they were happier...I was there...I loved the styles back then and especially the music...there was just something about that decade for me...

This was from a show I used to watch with my older brothers...the song is Phil Collins "in the air tonight"...I always thought it was awesome when used on this show...it''s back on satellite and its funny watching it again...loved the boats and cars in it and all the imagery...

Jules, You seem a little sad lately. You need Happy 80s music, not the depressing Phil Collins I want to kill myself because Peter Gabriel had all the talent in Genesis type of crap he made.

Thank you Tommy...I'm ok...been better ...superbug last week really took it out of me ...but doing fine... :-)

I did like the show though and I absolutely love 80's music, maybe I'm trying to escape but we always want to go to places and times we were happiest...

Those songs you posted are great...I liked the Jam and I absolutley loved The Lightning Seeds - Pure :-)

Anyone remember this...loved dancing to this :-)

That was a good one, reminds me of a 80s soundtrack with theat red headded girl with the sexy mouth.

This is a newer one, but it makes me happy, give it a try.

My girlfriends 4 year old sings this one like it was in a Disney movie, itis pretty funny because what does a 4 year old know about skinheads? I know I am a bad influence on her, but at least she won't like lousy music when she gets older.

Last one...I gotta get to the gym. Not a video, but the song is a classic, I always felt the Circle Jerks would rise again, but I've been waithing 25 years and I am losing hope.

The 80's was by far the best decade of my life. The music, the movies, everyone was just having a good time and partying. Every weekend was a Van Halen concert or a trip to see friends or something like that. Now its just work work work, run the kids around, clean the house and mow the lawn. I knew I should have called that number on the wall ......867-5309

I can't remember much of the 80's (too young), but I do love the music from that decade.

I'm 2 years older Ben...just been thinking about the past a lot lately...I was a teenager in the late 80's and loved being around my brothers...their cars...their bikes...they always included me :-)

Trying to remember the 80's...
  • Martha Quinn, J.J. Jackson, Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter - I ended up watching my MTV because my brother controlled the remote.
  • The only difference between men and boys are the price of their toys. Back then it was: GI Joe's, Transformers, Legos http://www.only80s.com/80sFads.html
  • Movies (Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Brat Pack): http://www.only80s.com/80sSilverScreen.html
  • TV (Macgyver): http://www.only80s.com/80sSmallScreen.html
  • I can say that I never had a pair of underroos or a big wheel.
  • I never got into the style....Jeans and t-shirts. I did have my brother's Member's Only jacket, but that wasn't until it was no longer popular (80's Fashion: http://www.prebble.com/80sFashionFile.html)
  • Going to the mountains with my family and friends.
  • Commodore 64...The ultimate in computing! (actually, I only used it to play games).
