Ok so i started an official thread for this meet.  I think we can all can agree Woodstock, is a equal distant location for all. 

Here is a link to a mapquest of where i reccomend we meet.  Its just a pizza place in Woodstock named "Catskill Pizza" seems to be a good spot for us to meet, mingle, get stuffed, and get ready to ride.

I will be staying the night on Saturday anyone else who is interested let me know.. if we can get a big enough group together, i would like to rent a house out there.   anyway.. let the posts fly..

I and 4-6 of my buddies are very interested in going.  We would all camp out also, and its only 90 miles from where we live so it is a good place to meet for us.

Keep us posted on progress and plans.

well you already know i'll be there, we were probably gonna stay the night sat. too... hotels up there
are cheap for 1 night (espeacially if split between 2-3 people)

Im leaving from NYC area with a few members on here so if anyone wants to join for the ride up let me know

Im in for the ride up, should be simple and may not be worth hauling. The ride is on a sat if I am correct, so we would ride up in the morning, rest and refuel and meet up. Then go on the long nice ride through the skills, and the come back and hotel it up for the night, and ride back the next day? I just want to make sure I have the itinerary correct cause I have a few friends that want in, so I need the straight business plan. Let me know. Sounds like a blast to me, I might have to invest in that corbin seat for this one though, thats a lot of riding on a stockie.

Thats exactly how  i wanted to do it, But on sunday im most likely going to bear Mountain on the way
back, ride through harriman St. park and take the saw mill back to the island, Only highway with little
to no traffic on a sunday. I've Driven to woodstock before and it took me just over 2 hrs in a car, The ride
there will be quick and painless...

I may be up for bear mountain on the way back, as long as we can split it up over two days. The ride through the skills is like 184 each way, plus the ride there. Ill look up hotels and whatnot. Im excited for this one.

Hells yeah.. and keep in mind guys i will be posting for a meet in Ithaca, NY after the 4th of july..


im going to host a good ol southern bbq up here in NY so everyone in the area can show up.. got lots of lakes, and good roads up here and in the area.

stand by for the headiest bbq you have ever had.

Roughly 4 hrs...

But some southern style bbq sounds like a good reason...

it took me 3 hrs to NYC in my car.. i suspect about the same to get up here.. its a beautiful ride as well..

I'm down for bbq and the Woodstock meet, gonna ask jimmyson if he wants to stay a night and possibly Bear Mtn on the way back.

Hotels up there are usually under $100 a night, Split between  you & 1 or 2  friends the price is right... Plus if theres enough of us we may get a nice deal on a few rooms...

Hmm... sounds interesting. Im a little confused though? Is the bbq on the same meet as the woodstock meet, or will that be a separate event?
