Why the hell doesn't ICON make a long pant size?  They have like four pairs of pants that I want but they don't fit.  I'm a 32 waist 34 leg.  The pants in size 32 are a 33 leg and I can sag them a bit without being able to tell and they fit great.  I would buy them if I didn't ride a bike.  Problem is when I get on a bike.  Obviously, it's tough to sag pants a little on a bike and then we have our legs bent so the pants don't come anywhere remotely near the top of my shoe.  They look like frickin highwaters.  The length of the pants doesn't increase until a size 38 waist, which is a 34 leg.  Do normal people taller than 6 feet just not need pants or something?  Am I supposed to be fatter?  Man, this is just pissing me off.  Every single pair of jeans that I like this year is ICON, and NONE of them fit me.

OK I'm done.  Any suggestions for cool looking riding jeans other than ICON?

Is the whole world full of short people???

Seems like 6'-6'1" is a pretty common size, and a 32/34 or 33/36 size should NOT be unheard of, except when it comes to riding gear.

I'm suffering through the same Icon problem on my Hooligan jeans... - They're fine, till I sit down, then they barely reach the top of my boots - main reason I picked them up - Clearance $30, just couldn't pass them up.

Icon jeans have reinforced knees that may last a little longer... that's why I use em for casual riding.

Heh.... I guess being fat has an advantage afterall. Mine are almost too long

Nobody ever said they were.  It's not really about them being any safer than any other jeans.  There are some other benefits to riding jeans in that they blow around less, they have more secure pockets, they have a little extra lining in the high-wear areas such as the knees, and there are some good looking jeans available for a reasonable price.  People have no idea what the patches mean anyway, so they just think it's some sort of nice street pants.

Update to the rant - My 34's came in and although not advertised as longer, they are longer and the waist runs small so they fit great even though I'm usually a 32.  I got the three pairs below.  Picked the Strongarm up today, get the rest later this week.

Here's some pictures.....Strongarm, Anthem, then Insulated Jean

And by the way, the prices on the site are WAY higher than what they actually sell for.
