I am currently looking at different fuel management systems and of course the PCIII is on the top of the list but I found the FI2000R made by Cobra and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this mod? If so how does it compare to the PCIII since it doesn't have any uploadable software just plug and go.

I was looking at this also.

It was just the featured product in MOTORCYCLIST. Per it, the PCIII is the pimp daddy of them all but also almost 400 bones. Got 5 hp more off the cobra and flattened out the power curve. Only draw back was not as programmable as the PCIII. So as mod out bike can't tweak quite as much.

Sounded plug and play from install description too!

If you get will you let us know?

I didnt see that article just found it on kneedraggers.com, sound like it's a pretty good deal though from what you said plus its on 225.00. I'll be ordering it this week and will post on it's performance.

I know a guy that did the Techlusion Fuel Injection Control Module and he wasn't happy with the results. It basically has little switches (DIP switches for those of you technically inclined) on the side that you play around with until your bike is running good. Killed his gas mileage and since he is the one making the adjustments, he is always second guessing himself and trying something different. He usually leaves it in a stock position.
