I've been looking around for some pants and ridegear had them at a decent price.  But I did some researching and I found a TON of negative feedback about ridegear and their business.  Should I just look for another place?  Has anyone ordered from them ever?  And if so what was your experience?

Ridegear is an ok place to order, because they do have some good deals, and sometimes they have a 25% discount for their closeout gear.  I just ordered an Alpinestars Vector 1 piece suit from them the other week that was on closeout and they had the 25% discount deal going, so I was able to save a lot of $$ on that suit.

However, if you do order from them, check your credit card statement online.  They billed my account an extra amount when the suit shipped.  I noticed the extra amount on my online statement over the weekend, after the suit shipped to me.  So, on that Monday I received the suit, and saw the invoice that they shipped with the suit.  So, I just called and emailed (ridegear seems to like email better than talking on the phone) them up to point out the error and they said that there was an error made and that I shouldn't have been billed extra, and that it would take 3 to 5 business days for the credit to show on my account.  A week went by, and still no credit, so I emailed them again for a status update on my credit.  In the email they said credit was given on the 21st.  I emailed them back to let them know that's when I was billed the extra amount.  So, long story short, after about two weeks, I finally received my credit for the overcharge and all is well.  Will I ever order from them again........ probably not, unless it's a very sweet deal!  I've never had this experience when ordering from other online stores before.  So, my first impression of Ridegear.com isn't too good of one.  But I did get the item I ordered and they were helpful with resolving this issue.

Hope this helps.
