Just for anybody that's potentially looking at getting an exhaust, has money to blow, and had their eye on a Laser Xtreme exhaust for their 07-08 CBR600RR... then Here, have a crapload of pictures!

Cold morning, warming up. The tripple smoke trails were kinda cool!

And just some more...

Here's some more...

And I have a sitting still, idle/reving up to 13-14K sound clip... and one of the stock exhaust... but I dunno where to post them... maybe I'll hit up YouTube with them soon... I don' know how bad compression will change the sound though. We'll see.

I'm not sure how much they would run on a 1K RR. And, I think... actually... you only have a "two pipe" option. You can google "laser Exhaust" and find lasers homepage and check out what they've got. As far as weight goes, yeah, it's not a super light exhaust. I would say it's about the same... though I didn't bust out the scale like I wish I could have when I had them both off. It's compensated for total removal of the back heat shield though... so that was a little more weight savings.

nice pipes.  I like the Akrapovic system on mine.  You might try integrated turn signals next, that would look good.

I'll take a few more. I have one of just the stock, and another of the "street" baffles, just sitting there and reving a few times. Next up I'll try to do a drive by, then maybe switch out the street and go with the race ones and run again. Depends on how motivated I am.

But you know OKIEZAC, best way to hear it is in person... that's always the best.

Video with sound is 75% done. Have some excellent sound and video for the stock exhaust, and some good idle/reving of the laser with street baffles. I figure I'll do a fly by or something with the street baffles and post the vid... then when I have some more time, I'll put in the race baffles and add-on to the end of the clip for the full effect. (Just have to wait to be back from Miami to do it)

Any update?  Link to videos?  It looks awesome!  I'd want it just for the mv agusta look but how is it trying to keep that exhaust/chrome looking clean and what not?

Okay, good call on the asking for an update! I actually have the video 80% done. I've got stock sounds, laser with street baffles (rev's and fly-by's), and I finally dropped in the race baffles. I just need someone to do some more recording (soon as the weather clears up) for the race baffles and it'll be done!

As far as the chrome goes... it's average for keeping chrome clean. The "tips" are made of a different kind of chrome or something it seems. The collector and down pipe seem to be harder to clean than the 3 tips (which feel very slick in comparison, when cleaning). Not sure what causes that...

Removing burnt on rubber is a biatch from the collector (forgot about that part when warming up a tire at the drags), but not bad on the tips. Rain/water spots aren't any more of an issue than standard chrome.

I can imagine how much that would suck to clean.  Shoot the stainless two brothers on my 900rr looked brand new but once I had it for a couple of months it was impossible to clean, once it got hot that stainless steel just doesn't like to be clean and attractive looking.  I'm excited to see video as I love the look and want to hear those race baffles!
