Has anyone ever had this problem?
Fuel is flooding out of the left side of the air box.
I have no Ram Air's on the bike to work on it.

I got the bike Finally running fine....It was multiple problems. My float was fine.
I changed every diaphram in the carbs, two AICV valves and like 200
gdamn hoses.

Nevermind I spoke to soon.
I cranked my bike let it warm up and went to throw a leg over it
then as I'm kicking up my kickstand,I notice it is Flooding out of the left side of my air box....
exact same as before.
Any help would be much appreciated!

are the jets ok? does it run ok? seems like way to much fuel is in there and it wont all burn up. i really dont know much bought um but figured id give my two sense.

brveagle -> RE: Flooding the Air box? (4/10/2008 10:18:12 AM)

It's one of your floats man. did you pull out all the float needles?

I'm gonna bet it's the float valve seat. Usually there's an oring there that can produce these problems

Cocky600 -> RE: Flooding the Air box? (4/10/2008 11:05:55 AM)

Thanks Breagle
Yes I have pulled the diaphrams and needles to check them all...but haven't that O-ring.
It seems to act like it's my carb. #1 so I'm going to check it now.
O yeah ? about the AICV how can I tell if the electronics are bad on it?
Thanks Mike

Cocky600 -> RE: Flooding the Air box? (4/13/2008 12:39:53 PM)

Br I pulled the float bowls and the "float ass." and I was wondering exaclty what O ring or seal you were talking about?
Thanks Mike

Bump

I'm about to drop my engine just to go through the whole damn thing....and
it is a very strong engine.

Cocky600 -> RE: Flooding the Air box? (6/3/2008 5:15:06 PM)

I just put OEM NGK plugs in, after I fixed the carb. #3 float was stuck...
The thing was it ran damm good when it was flooding.
Fix that and it sounds like its only on 3 cylinders.
Can my Fuel/Air screw be that big of a problem???
If anyone knows please give me the Jet specs.
                  Thanks,
                          Mike

I know that if you let it sit long enough the gas will varnish the carbs and continue to pour out.  Alot of people will notice gas inside of the oil pan.  I would make sure you have done a good 'couple' oil changes and make sure the plugs are covered.  You might have to replace needles/jets.
