I have a 1990 cbr 1000f with V&H exhaust and larger jets, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how it would stack up racing wise with a 2002 r6, or 2004 gsxr600, I have a few friends that have both and say they will blow me out of the water, I am just wondering if anyone could tell me how my bike would stack up to now days technology and speed??

I think ALOT of it comes down to the rider. Who the better rider is will make a huge difference.

But thats just my .02

If you can't fly a jet, you couldn't beat a unicycle in a race in one.

Im talking on the street, I have been racing dirtbikes since I was 7 at local tracks, so I will go out on the limb and say my riding is up to par, im just wondering how it would stack up in a street race.

They probably make the same if not more power than you, not to mention WAY lighter.  You'll get your ass handed to you...unless they suck at riding.
