Ok, so as you have read, I just got my first bike. I was able to get a 2002 Honda CBR F4i. It is in awesome shape, paint is perfect, with no damage what-so-ever. I had to put tires on it, and the only thing I didn't like about the deal is that he didn't have the owners manual. Does anyone know where I can get one from? I would like to read the recommendations on oil, antifreeze etc. for the bike. I want to change all fluids before actually getting into riding it, just since I don't know how the previous owner kept up with that kind of stuff. I didn't really buy the bike for performance, just for its appearance and for joy rides with my buddy (who has a ZX6R). So about the only thing I want to do is a slip-on exhaust, probably a Yoshimura or Hindle. But if you guys have any tips or anything I should know about, let me know! Thanks.

Stephen

Congrats. Just bought myselft a 2002 F4I (Yellow and Black). Also make sure you check out the "General Teck" Forum and go to the bottom of the first page. You will see a post put on there by urban_ninja for a "serice manual." On there you will be provided with a full service manual (PDF file) for your bike. Good luck and stay safe.

You bought a good first bike. If I were you I wouldn't change much for now. Maybe a slip on like you said, and when it's time for a filter change go with a K&N. You asked about a owners manual, you should go ahead and buy a service manual (it has almost everything you will need to know including fluids and capacities).
