ORIGINAL: mmgsport well......i do own my own shop and know quite a bit of mechanics here and there - giving an educated guess what you said graphix really makes no sense. if you didnt want the fluid to heat up why would you put a "jacket" on it? a black one @ that?? Its more of a ray issue than it is temperature along with spillage. But whatever floats ur boat. But like I said, most of it is in case of spillage, go put brake fuild on ur bike and see what it does to the paint.

have a very similar setup and my light is plenty visible... hey i have the same exhaust and wanted to get the same tail light, is the light bright enough to be noticed and safe? cause i had issues with the exhaust blocking the light and being unsafe. thanks

i just dont know - even that setup above doesnt really look that visable - maybe once you get on the bike and the whole thing is lower it looks better

sorry for the double post - i just wanted to say that i just bought the EXACT same setup but my light is hanger (for the exact oem fit) and my pipe isnt on yet - so i completely like it but i just dont know about the visibility of it. its just not that big of a deal for me - my first bike (and last) had no front or rear signals!!! so this is a blessing for me.

well guys - the jury is in - egdcbr600rr is completely right - i did all of it myself tonight - I did the Rs5 Pipe and the Hangar r/d light and the sh*t is way under there - everyone who takes pics of the setup take them from some kinda side angle to make it look better - but standing behing my bike tonight make it look slammed up there - its kinda crazy to think that I'm (almost) the only one who sees this - i probably should go with a different pipe even though I dont want to - i'm still gonna try to stick with my idea and maybe put a bend in it to bring it down and away from the light - and the kicker is that i'm not worrying about a car not seeing me from behind...i think it just looks plain stupid.... not being bias - i just dont like it.
