sorry it took so long to reply... this set-up is not that strong (plenty strong enough for tag) i added a belt drive so it will slip once its up or down, this eliminated the need for limit switches, if you set it up all gear to gear (no belt) it will be crazy strong but will need limit switches! (you can change gearing to make it even stronger)

Thanks Carbon.

Illegal....well ok but it is still a cool gadget.  You have to omit that at least one time in your life you wish you had one of those for what ever reason.  Hey James Bond has one on his car so you know it is cool......

Anyway, what I was think about doing with it, was using it in a wall in my house for hiding my guns.  (Funny you mentioned the gun comment).  Flip a switch and let it slide say a picture or a panel up.  I have seen some of these commercially, but figuring I can make one cheaper.
