unless you have got a bunch of mods i say keep insurance on it and if something happens go shoppin! i can say that now but if it ever happened to me i would still be a little upset tho, its hard to put a price on that sentimental value im sure everyone develops after time on THEIR baby

I would just keep theft insurance on the bike and if it gets stolen they send you a check and you get a new bike. If the bike gets stolen, why would you want it back? I agree with redbbwoy...I don't see any reason you would want a stolen bike back, unless it wasn't insured.

real sh*t, ii honestly think ii wud cry if my bike got stolen! its my 1st bike n ii love it! nd for a thief to steal it n have lo-jack recover it. it wud feel as if the thief violated it and it wasnt mine anymore...kinda like sum dude sexing ur x-gf that u wanted 2 get back with, but you knowing she had sex with him wud deter u...

i totally agree - except for the day later thing - I'm never off my bike for more than 8 hrs(sleep) --- but besides that ------ I'm just kind of a dick -often- and I would want them to really pay. go to jail, get beat up - I dont know - but I guess "opening up a can of worms" and doing all i can to get it back is pretty stupid - I just have this picture in my head that I'm gonna get it back an hour later and thats pretty stupid -
theft insurance si the way to go. seriously - but what about depreciation and all that sh*t

it was my bike that was stolen . dont get to confy where you are or think that it wont happen to you .. thast what i thought . i live in a desent apt. complex and nothing ever happens here .. its pretty quite and things where just good .. i walked out to check and see if i needed my rain suit ( it looked like the pavment was wet but you could not see the rain ) and i looked to my right and had to take a double look because there was somthing missing ... my bike !!!!!! so i ran to the spot looked around to make sure no one was just palying a joke on me ( and if they had i would have beat the shit out of them ) and at that point i new it was gone .. tears started rolling down my cheek that bike was like my child .. it ment alot to me .. i know . it may sound stupid .. but it was the only white and silver CBR600RR around town and it stod out . when it was clean ( hell even when it was dirty ) it would shine in the sunlight and man it just looked plan good .. it was MY dream bike .. i'v always wanted a 600RR since they came out in 2003 i finaly had mine .. my own RR my own HONDA CBR 600RR ......... some lazy motherf*&%er had to come take my child from me ............... i know i'm not getting it back . i found out a few nights ago that my bike was not the only one stolen that night .. at least 2 other bikes from baylor had been stolen to .. one being a CBR1000rr .. what pisses me off is theres a black zx600 as you first pull in and turn to the left .. right there .. you cant miss it .... do they take that .. nooo .. but no one really wants a kawi. anyway right ? ... it just plan sucks .. and it is only costing me money . i have to put money out for a car rental beacuse my car is being painted and my ins. is only coving 20 dollars a day .. so i'm paying 5 dollars a day for the rental .. it dont sound like much but shit ! i should not have to be paying for something that was taken from me .. i have to wait 14 days before they will cut me a check so i can get anotherone .. then i have to fill out a new app. for a new loan .. its bs .. i know i will get another loan .. but thats not the point .... its more headace then it needs to be .. thats for sure

Im assuming you go to Baylor.. that means your a pretty smart kid. You know some douche bag has your bike in mexico.. sorry i know it sucks.. just think at least now you KNOW you are going to have an alarm/ Disc Alarm<i like those better bc there is no wires to cut. And have alittle more peace of mind..
I hate texas and everything inside the state (besides jessica simpson) so i never ride down there (used to live in Ft.Worth) but keep your head up and keep in mind if you get an 08 and want to go white.. or get a used 07 and want to go white again www.hondaparts-direct.com will have a set of fairings OEM pretty affordable..

besides the alarms...keep the next one INSIDE the apartment...florida is known for its theft,especially where ii am located...areas like mia, ft. lauderdale, orlando(where ii am now for skool).
ii keep my babii inside!! all the time! unless iim going out..duh. but that sh!t is never out of my sight for too long! its sitting right in my living room next 2 da couches and the tv and the coffee table! sh!t ii jus about eat all my meals wit my b!tch...breakfast,lunch, and dinner...it right there watching me eat and iim there watching it sit...but yea man SORRY AGEN! le us kno wat u end up gettin

no i go to TSTC ( Texas state Tec. college ) i love texas always have always will .. like the sooners to ! go figure ! but yea ..... i had full coverge on it and gap ( so as far as the bike gose none of that will be coming out of my pocket ) but .. i hated the graiffii at first .. but its kind of growing on me ... my eclipse is black .. so it would kinda of go hand in hand .. but i really loved my white one .... i had debated on getting a ducati they have the new 848 in pearl white .. and i'v always like the style of the ducait and the sound .....but damit .. when it comes down to it .. nothing beats a honda !

So sorry about your bike bro, I live in Texas too and like Okiezac said, you know some dirtbag is riding it down in mexico. I have the graffiti and love it, but if iI had to do it over i probably would have went with a different paint scheme. P.S. I went to T.S.T.C. also. Anyway good luck bro.

Heres my alarm system...
1) 110 pound African Lion Hound/Pit Bull mix, and
2) A doggy door leading into my garage. God freaking help you if you are dumb enough to go after my weed whacker, never the less my bike, cause the bastard will take your leg off.
I am still kinda worried though, I just hate the thought of it. I do a few random laps through my neighborhood before I go home every time, just in case someone's following me.
I also have two cops that live next door, one of which I ride with... I think I have all the bases covered at home, but that does not do much for away... Some people just dont want to get a job and do it the honest way. Its these people I want to watch my dog maul. (kidding, sorta)
