Working on the fairings and my engine came in today.
I stoped everything and put the motor in the frame.
Everything bolted up real slick, I hope everything goes as well.

I got the old girl running and what a rush to hear it run.

It is a little cold blooded and I have to change the plugs and oil yet. I have a small leak from a crack in the Impulse cover. I'll change covers when I change the oil.

I'll be getting to work on the fairings this week. You can see that they came from several different bikes. The tank, fender, front end and left mid are green, the tail, right mid, right lower, are purple and black, the left lower is white and so on.
It's came a long way but I see light at the end of the road.

I bought these stands off Ebay for $50, and they work great. Why would anyone not have these.

I am still waiting on the fairings. I am having them repaired and painted. I good friend is doing it for free so I can't complain. I gave him free reign on the paint but no skulls or flames.
I got my new choke cable in so I got it installed and mounted the airbox.
Just waiting on the fairings.

I was planning on selling them on ebay for like $40 or whatever they would go for whenever I got around to putting them up there. PM me if you think that's a fair price.

Yes, special glowy platinum. I'll trade you for one of your tail sections. Ha ha

I got the old girl put together and wanted to post a couple pics.

I used the bolts from Bikerbolts.com and was hasppy for the most part, though I would like to aquire the stock speed bolts but not at $9 a pop.

I still need the lock for the rear seat. I will get a plug for now.

I did take her out. Now I never rode it before as I got it non running.
I went out wearing my beany helmet, I got some speed up and the wind cought my visor and pulled my helmet back and strangled me with the strap. I will be buying a full face.
What a blast it is to go fast.
