Not sure where this should post - here or off-topic... Insurance!? What sort of coverages have you lived with and was there any reasoning behind the specifics. "As much as you can afford" is an obvious answer, but I'm more curious about the details. Medical, No Medical? Collision, No Collision? Comprehensive, No Comprehensive? Roadside, No Roadside? Any coverage/ coverage level that in hindsight you realize you should have had. Living in the Northeast, my riding tends to be limited to 6 months out of the year. My F3 is still runs solid, but its scars tell that more than just the tires have dragged on the ground. Example...I've dropped my collision since at this point, any hit that bike takes to seriously damage it beyond what I can fix myself won't be worth the repair cost. Just curious....thanks for any reponses!

The only thing I've ever had was the lowest coverage because of my age. I haven't gotten any insurance for this year yet because I just got back into the states, but I might get better coverage this year around because of incidents that happened last year... the lowest coverage doesn't cover crap so I'm thinking it's going to be worth to pay the couple extra bills.
