I use windex or some glass cleaner(which is the same thing as windex) and it works wonders, Sometimes I'll get a wet paper towel and wipe down the whole bike then use a dry one to dry it down.

+1 for Plexus,  After you wash it with Plexus get some wax and wax the bike!  Warning: you may slip off the bike, but it looks very sexy.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. If you really want your baby to shine, use the Maguire's 3-step Wax treatment..........followed by #7 polish. It takes a few hours of tough elbow grease...........and DAMN did it make my previous 06 SHINE! (Have yet to do it to my 07)

While the I'm sure the bike is "Shiny" there is certainly a lot of enhancement in the photo. Such as... look how shiny the leaves are on that tree. And the bark on the tree looks a bit enhanced too. It's amazing what you can do with pic's these days.

Mr Clean.  no water spots.  That's if washing.

Polishing the honda stuff is pretty good but the yamaha stuff is better and plexus is great.

I use to only use the cleaners and never wet washed it with water.  But now i notice salt build up on some of the nuts and bolts.  A friend of mine washes his like he washes cars and he does not have this residue looking crap on some of his nicks and crannies so I am going to start washing with water.

Believe it or not... I've heard of some people using Pledge and swear it's the way to go. I have not tried this. But, I may give it a shot.

Well, I decided to give it a try and... I like it

Just bought the Honda polish. Good enough for me cuz I'm actually gonna ride the thing. Unlike some members, that I wont mention-----FOX & ONAROM----, who just have theirs mounted and hanging on their walls at home then just photoshop the pictures with real life orchard backgrounds and such....
