Has anyone heard of or have any kind of remote start and alarm on their bike? or know if a viper remote start and alarm system could be hooked up to a bike or not?

scorpio alarm system... but i suggest not "remote start" on a bike. This is because someone could of put the bike into first gear while you were away from the bike and if you pres that "button" even on accident, it will start the bike and it will probbly hop and knock itself off it's kick-stand.. I'm just giving you a heads-up... (scorpio alarm system is pretty much plug'n'play)

I can tell you everything you want to know the basics... you can make a car remstart work just fine, you have plenty of safe guards in place to make it work. for example. on my 06 1000rr the bike won't start in gear if the kickstand is down, second, vipers for example can hook up a neutral saefty switch which won't let you start unless your in neutral. amoung other options you can hook up as well. The hard part... 1.You will need to get a wire diagram, from a service manual i have one from an HRC manual i can send you but i have not looked to see if it has what i need. 2.You will need to figure out a cranking time, or try to see if we can make it work off the tach. bikes crank a little harder and longer than cars do when they are cold. 3.I have been researching this a little myself i install remote starters for circuit city and have plenty of access to the info needed. 4.Things we need to find out amps running to the ECU from the battery. 5. If you want an alarm system you will need some different sensors, like a tilt sensor, but that will have to be adjusted to work on an angle instead of a flat. 6. Plenty of experimenting might be needed and one thing to keep in mind is electricity can be alot like a woman "you do everything right and it still insn't satisfied" and may have some weird issues. 7. I have no idea it any of this will throw a check engine light, Like in may European cars, it manages to throw codes. but we can always compare data from a motorcycle system to a car system. they are all basically doing the same thing. oh yeah i almost forgot, we need to make room for all this wiring someplace and brain modules. Because these arent small
