i know this goes in the riding gear section but i havent had much luck there, i guess theres less traffic in that section...

but does anyone know how the A* RC-1 textile jacket fits?
by using the sizing chart on kneedraggers it says i need a medium, but this seems like it would be small, but i didnt know if thats just how motorcycle jakcets sizing ran.

im avg. size 5'10" 160 lbs so anyone else around my size, what size of jacket do you have?
also does anyone know how the A* fits compared to joe rocket, cuz my local shop has joe rocket but not A* so i thought i could try one of those on and then get a better idea of what i might need

They will compare in size.  You will want your jacket snug.  Not all flopping around in the wind.  I have two, one is a size larger for stuffing a hoodie under when it gets cold, the other for everything else.
Try it on at the shop and note the size......it will be very comparable.

thanks guys.
i know there is someone out there around my weight and height... so what size do you guys wear?

i figured mc jackets might just run smaller than reg clothes, so maybe a med. wouldnt be too small but i wear XL in everything else (which is a little baggy) and i know i dont want baggy on a motorcycle i just want to be sure a medium isnt TOO snug.

i am 5 '10'' around 160lbs as well. I usually wear a medium shift jacket which fits perfect. I also have an alpinestar jacket in medium which fits just a little tighter than the shift. the sizes vary slightly from different brands usually...but generally, if you're the same height and weight as me...medium should be the best choice in my opinion. Oh btw the first jacket I wore was a Large Joe Rocket Honda jacket. It was way too big so I sold it right away. Alright hope this helps man.

Are you sure you mean RC-1? It's a leather jacket.

For a textile jacket medium sounds about right for you. I'm 5'10, 170 lbs, 42" chest, 32" waist and have the ACR Air-Flo jacket size large. The chest/belly area is way too big. Shoulder width is about right but the arms are tight. Fits kinda weird and I'm an average guy. I've found motorcycle gear sizing is all over the map so you want to try it on before you buy.

im 5'10, 170lbs and i have an A* TZ-1 leather jacket. its a fitted jacket in a 42. i have a mesh joe rocket that is large size and a little big on me. im probably gonna get a new mesh jacket in a medium. do you have a cycle gear or other motorcycle shop around that you could go to and try on a jacket? thats what i usually do.
