I am tearing my bike down to pull the engine and I found that there is a wrong fastener in this pivot point on the left side.
The crack in the weld has me concerned but I don't know if it has a load on it when properly installed with the correct fastener.
The fastener is missing on the right side. Where can I get the proper fasteners? What are they called? And what about the crack?
Thanks, Brian

Oh man, you scared me. I thought you were gonna show me a picture of a cracked motor mount. I can't really see it too well, you took great pics, it's just hard to make out where the crack starts and stops, etc. But it looks like it's just on the end of the sub-frame. Which is no big deal. There's usually grundles of sub-frames (you'd be safe with 93-95, I believe) on ebay and they go for around $30-60. I'll keep an eye out during my daily searches if you want.

It would be nice to have all four bolts in there, I bet. What do the bottom fasteners look like? The OEM bolts have a hex head opening (socket bolt). The one that goes on the right side top is longer than the other three and has a 'locking' nut that sits inside the frame hole, kind of. Check out the micro-fiche at Ron Ayers to see what you need (ebay is pretty devoid of specific fasteners, other than for fairings...) and then buy it a little cheaper from Carolina Cycle. If you only need the top two bolt setups, then get these numbers off of the micro-fiche: #14, 16, 19, and two 21's...if you need the bottom ones, add two more 16's and two more 21's.

Good luck Brian, don't give up, she needs you!
