You should check out the E36 forums.  MUCH worse than anything listed there.  But I have always loved how people on BFC will say "ITS A BMW.. USE THE MOST EXPENSIVE STUFF OUT THERE"

BTW I am zeit00 on BFC as well.

"If you use gasoline with this minimum AKI Rating, the engine may produce knocking sounds when starting at high outside temperatures. This has no affect on the engine life."

I'm not going to even begin to comment on that statement...What amazes me most is that BMW owners 1) don't know a damn thing about cars and 2) are hell bent over saving $200 a year.

IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE GAS THEN WHY ARE YOU DRIVING A BMW?!?

Haha I drive a 04 Saab 9-3 and we are always ripping on the Bimmer owners.  Thats one of the exact reasons when they take a sh1t it shoots rainbows out there @$$.  Not saying I have not ever met a good bimmer owner just the majority of them are A$$ hats.

Oh no, not the Saab/BMW debate.  I thought about the Saab, but I wanted to stay on the road more than the shop.

I use to be a service advisor at a BMW dealer and I can say that most BMW owners are the biggest cheap asses out there and will bitch about maintenance till they get it for free or a price brake.  If the car calls for 91 or better then that's what I would use.

I know I felt cheap when the anti-freeze for my car was $29/gal.
