OK guys....Im about ready to start the WinterWork modifications on my 1000-RR...Anyone that has the following mods/accessories, let me know what you think on them and where you got them:

--Yoshimura RS-5 Slip-On(Stainless)
---> Does the titanium, help disipate heat better or is metal just metal when it comes to this?
---> Do i REALLY need a CPU upgrade with the slip-on

--Intigrated LED Tailight/TurnSignals
---> Prefer the simple bolt-on(Clear Alternatives) vs. the tear apart and replace the circuitboard type(Custom LED)
---> the CuirtcutBoard Only model claims 52-Red LEDs and 44-Amber LEDS. Anyone have the complete unit to give me a comparison count since C.A does not list how many it has

--FlushMount LED Front Signals
---> Im leaning toward Greggs, but am looking hard at watson...I want them to work as running lights also and i think the watsons will do it "as-is" and the Greggs require a few extra $20 gadgets....

--HID-Type HeadLight Bulbs....
---> Want to get the brightest/whitest lights without moveing to true HID and without drawing too much current or melting the lens

Any other cool/Trick mods....Im not looking for any deep performance mods(yet), just cosmetic things right now..

Thanks in Advance

True HID will actually draw less current -- generally around 35W and put out more light. Silverstar bulbs are the next best thing @ 55W.

Clear Alternatives integrator is just yummy-licious bike candy. Had mine for a year now and still love it. Zero problems with it.

The Gregg's blinks are great also but mine aren't wired as running lights. You can wire them as running lights for $0 extra but the turn signal indicators will always be lit.

Have fun !

Power commander and Akrapovic exhaust was a big hit on mine.

Cycle Cat bars, with gel grips were another good upgrade for me.

Puig race screen. Good improvment and cheap.

I went with Craigs flush blikers on front with rear integrated rear on back. Very happy with that.

There are many good combinations out there. This is just what I went with.

I`ve never had any issues with heat, but i wouldn`t know the answer to the question about titanium. By cpu upgrade to you mean power commander? If you do then it`s not a must. The bike will run fine without one, just better with one. And then you can get the bike setup to perfection on a dyno. I ran mine without a pc3 for 3 months, then gave in and bought a pc3. The standard map from there website worked fine, I just wanted to know for definate if it was running rich/lean so I took it to a local racing firm who dyno`ed it and made a custom map for me. Believe me its a different bike!!
