Lifting you off the seat? Please describe. Something sounds a bit odd there. How many miles have you got in the saddle? If it's a low number wait. If it is a high number, you're thinking about it too hard.

The F4 pops up nicely in 1/2 - and clutches up in 3... I would be surprised if the F4i was any different.

I'm not a fan of giving wheelie advice because I don't want to hear about the crash later and have to feel bad. :D

Roll the throttle at about 6-7k, she will lift up like a feather...

I weigh about 3 bills and can power wheelie in first. I've never tried in 2nd. It should come naturally. A key note is that you should try to sit as far back on the seat as possible while still being comfortable enough to control the bike if something were to happen unexpectedly.

at around 7krpm (which translates to ~40mph) sitting back on the seat... you'll need a good stretch of road.
I'm assuming from your 'super member' status that you have sufficient experience... always cover your rear brake though.
never powered in 2nd :( that would require long roads which I don't do wheelies on.

The F4i is one of the best bikes to do a wheelie on, I have never powered a wheelie in 2nd, I used my clutch to do it. For more advice, I recommend going to the "Stunters Corner" forum for more expert advice.

You need to be really careful with power wheelies, the best thing to do is to learn how to clutch it up

+1 - at this point i've done 3 wheelies, all of them were incidental, all of them in 1st gear, all of them the clutch was fully engaged.  Probably more like 2-3 inches but enough where the front end goes completely weightless

I had a -1 sprocket on the front of my 04 f4i last year and had no problems doing power wheelies. Only ever had to clutch it when I did 3rd gears which are alittle tougher, well over 100 mph. I just put on my +2 sprocket last week and its still crappy winter weather where i am for a few weeks and im only getting more anxious. but yes they are very possible and i never so sit downs unless im in 1st. Everything else is stand up.

yes it can with stock gearing...do a great power wheelie...

just have to get your timing down with the roll off/roll on throttle...

in 1st...roll on to about 7-9K RPM feel the front suspension unload, then cut throttle, feel it compress all the way down, as it's about to come back up, roll on the throttle again...

be sure to cover the rear brake. don't chop the throttle or else you can bust your fork seals.

just first practice rolling on and off to get your timing...then when you got that down, go for the wheelie...and as you get the front wheel off the ground and feel like you're going to pee and SHITE in your pants...and you brake/chop the throttle hard to prevent you from flipping over backwards...pat yourself on the back because you just did the biggest THREE INCH WHEELIE IN THE WORLD!

ahahhahahahahha
