I plan on going and was wondering if anyone else from the forum was going to make it. Let me know and we can meet up.

Have not set any plans in stone but am seriously considering making the trip AMA weekend 18 through 20th was just there Sunday. If you get around to the museum. There is an older gentlemen, and my mind must be really slipping, because his name escapes me, but he is a former 0321 (Recon Marine) we spent most of the afternoon taking a guided tour and discussing a lot of interesting trivial facts about motorcycles that are on displayed. Things that you will not necessarily find on the description sheet accompanying the bikes. He has worked there for several years and has spent a great deal of time researching the motorcycles on display. Just take a look around, there is no missing him and he will be happy to fill you in on anything you would like to know. I made the trip with a mixed group of riders two of them all the way from North Carolina with one thing in common. A Marine Corps history all of them are either retired or currently serving except for one young man, who is a son of a Marine and is medically unable to serve. But that's neither here nor there, the subject is barbers and the AMA. It is one of only two times a year that the lower floor of the museum is open to the general public. That is an added benefit to catching AMA at barbers it is a great place to spend the day are the weekend regardless

If you're having a hard time finding me in the photo this may help here I am again

While you are in that area, you might want to take a ride down Highway 25 and you can make a rest stop at "29 Dreams". Its like a smaller version of deals gap

Man, that place is fantastic!! We went there last summer as we passed through AL, GA, TN, NC, and SC. Don't miss it ! A couple shots from our stop. Only got to spend half a day there. Will go back in September on the way to the Moto GP at Indy.

The second to arrive.

Dedication..

Freaking awesome!  Had a great time at Barbers over the weekend.  Anyone else go?

I was pulling in and this guy rides up to me and says nice bike, looked over and realized he had the same bike.  He said his friend couldn't make it that day and gave me his tix, along with a Paddock pass.  Guess it was my lucky day!
