Does anyone know if a swingarm taken from a '98 cbr 600 f3 would fit a '96?

I'm 98% sure yes. Practically everything is interchangable.

Thanks! We'll find out if it works when I finally get it. I was rear-ended by another idiot bike at an intersection a bit ago and his forks put a pretty sweet gouge into my swingarm. I didn't drop the bike but I know swingarms are something you don't wanna mess with when they are damaged.

Sorry to hear about the rear ending. I also have a 96, and I've got a 98 engine on its way. It'll be here monday. I think all they changed was the tail light, some fairings, and a bit more power in 97-98. I can't wait to get back on the road.
