I know everyone hates it when they hear about someone wanting to lower there bike im well aware of all the side affects to it already but when lowering the front end you must slide the triple tree down on the front fork...i dont know if its possible or not but could you buy a shorter set of front forks that wouldnt have the inch or whatever sticking up and out of the triple tree? also to prevent from the front end smacking down on the front hugger and marking it up if it could be made stiffer? if anyone knows if this is possible please let me know, thanks

I doubt anyone makes shorter forks, but what you could try is to exchange your springs in the forks too a stiffer one and go with a little heavier weight oil in them. Then you should be able to lower your forks.
