Looking for any pointers.  Doing the swap right now and trying to center the wheel.  Seeing if anyone has any tricks to getting it centered.

As of now, just put 2 stripes with tape on the tire.  Then put it all into place and jack the tire up to the frame.  Then I use a center hole on the frame to tell if its center.  Really really close, but I think its still abit off.

Anyone have any other ideas that would be easier?  I was trying to find the center of the swingarm, but couldnt.  And im not entirely sure about the 2 stripes on the tire or if I should be even doing it that way.  I want this thing perfectly straight before I feel comfortable riding with it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Today I will go take a picture of my shock linkage. my friend made for me. Its a sweet set up allowing the shock to keep its original travel angle. Now with centering the swingarm it will never be completely centered. The best thing you can do is measure your space between the frame and the width across the swingarm. Do the math and you will be able to determine the center of the swingarm by having equal measurements on both sides of the swingarm. I suggest using a digital caliper to make your measurements of the gap between the frame and the swingarm and then make the appropriate spacers.

thanks CJ for all your help.

i was trying to find it, but the sucky thing about the vfr swingarm is the wheel is not center with the swingarm.  thinking about taking it to a shop to have them find the center of the wheel on the swingarm for me.  that way I can do what your saying and have the calipers measure the center of the frame.
