Just picked up a 00' F4 to begin this season.

Got a bit of a deal on it, couldn't pass it up.

Downside is, there is a bit of damage on the upper fairing, just below the throttle,
and a few scratches on the CBR logo, (probably cannot see that in the picture).

Rather than spend any more money on replacment fairing, I was thinking of
just air brushing the damaged areas, then a bit of clear coat to keep it in place.
Rather than attempting to match the paint myself. I did a bit of searching for the
colour code. I can't find that information anywhere.

And I even read through every page, of every thread in the F4 section of this site,
no info, (but alot of other GREAT information).

So my question is, what is the yellow colour code, or any other brand of paint you
guys noticed matched fairly well?

But there is slight damage on the upper fairing, and a few scratces on the lower right fairing.

Y160 is the color code. Should be on a label on the under the seat.

very nice looking bike.

if you don't mind my asking... what'd you pay for it and how many miles are on it?

i'm looking into that same bike (00 Black/Yellow) with 20k miles for 3500, but probably going to try to talk him down.

does anyone think 20k is too much for this bike?  everything i've read says a honda will go forever, so i was thinking it's not too bad.  do ya'll think differently?

Well I've noticed alot of times on this forum people say area matters
so If this helps I'm from Ontario Canada.

It has 15,381KM, so whats that? 9,400 miles?
I have been searching for this bike for a while and believe it or not this one was the cheapest at $4200
Bit pricy but I was happy that the flush blinkers and alarm system (scorpio 2 way FM dealie) we're already installed.

Beat the hell out of the '99 with 30k for $5200 I saw (and laughed at) a few days ago.

Im kinda strapped for cash at the moment, so only thing I'm going to pick up are frame sliders and a tinted windscreen.
I am seriously looking at getting that Bootleg CF shorty pipe that was posted in the buy/sell section some months ago.

I sent bootleg an email, asking if they made one that fits F4 or not, I remember a few people asking, but they never got a reply.

Damn nice looking pipe.
