Good job, I still can't get my clutch wheelie... Maybe i'm doin something wrong...
I pull the clutch like half way..
Give it throttle and dump it and it just kind of revs out of first and doenst pop up

yeah im dumping my clutch (which is wrong, but better then power wheelies).. i'm in 1st about 32-37mph or 4-5K RPM's and pull the clutch in ALL the way while revving it to about 7-8RPM's (it's just a LITTLE twist of the wrist) and then i just drop the clutch.. I dont recommend it, but it will get the wheel up..

I'm still learning what TK is trying to tell me - There is a sweet spot in the clutch between engaged and disengaged, you can feel it if your just riding along the road and you just gently pull in the clutch while still on the throttle. Right when you hear the engine Revving up and your bike is not accelerating any faster - that's your sweet spot..

what he is saying you need to pull it to sweet-spot, revv it up (which is ALOT higher Rev's then just dumping the clutch) but it's ALL practice, right now im just getting alot of jerkyiness - so i think i need to increase my rev's so get my front weightless..

JUST PLAY AROUND - I mean if you been on your bike for over a year, you should be comfortable enough to know your limitations on what it does and yourself. Like right now, im playing around with my braking too.. like feeling how much pressure on the front brake before my back gets weightless, or been playing with the back brake to see the limit to lock it up - Not that i care about endoing or drifting my bike, but hey to know your limitations when something actually happens, you can react and know how to.  (ex. was short-stopped by a car and i accidently locked my back brake without thinking, where if i would of just kept more pressure on the front and tapped the back so often - i could of saved more feet from that car)

jjsmi, have you gotten your power wheelie yet? or even felt the front end come up from just pulling that grip back right before your Powerband?

Hey Vermino, just for what its worth if you start trying what i was telling you, you wont need to rev all that much, make sure you start small. I dont think i have ever looked at my speedo or tach before hand, but i can tell you this. When i am clutching 2nd gear (just an example) 1: my blip of the clutch last maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a second, its that quick. 2: i would say i generally will clutch up around 4k rpm's, when i slip it i would be willing to be my rpm's only climb to maybe 6k or so, 7 at the max, so when you start to get it right you wont rev all that much. So if you are practicing in 1st just be careful, cause when you do hit it right, and you are revvin a lot its gonna shoot fast. I hate to tell you this, and actually slow your progress by having you back off the rev's, but i just want ya to know it wont take much with proper technique.
