hey i have a 93 cbr 600 f2 i am wanting to sell. I has 28k on the bike and still runs like a dream. I recently had new clutch's installed ( 3weeks ago, with maybe 200 miles on them) new plugs, oil and filter, new uni air air filter, and new tires, and new battery. i am looking for $2000 obo for this. The bike runs excellent, shifts smoothe, runs great and handle like a dream. Now the bad, it does need some body work, i was in the process of paitning it over the winter, and the paint i had came out 2 diffrent shades of blue, also the front faring needs some work. When i towed it to the dealership to get the clutch's done i hit a hole in the road and one of the staps went through the side of the front fairing. Anyone with some fiberglass experince could easly fix this. I am just looking to get out of the sport bikes for now, and possibly get a quad. if you have anymore questions fell free to ask, i have some pics of when i was getting ready to tow it to the shop, and will have more soon. Also i will only accept cash, or money order,NO CHECKS!, and absolutly NO TEST RIDES!!! I can start it and i can ride it for you but NO TEST RIDES, sorry but i can not do that. YOu dont get to test ride from dealerships, so why should an individual seller let you test ride? For one how do they know if you can ride, or what if you decide to just take off? Bump for the sale.

Uhh... you CAN test ride from a dealership... they have insurance for that shit... It's called a demo bike. For a test ride on a private sale, the standard is cash in sellers hand until the bike is returned safely.

I've sold several cars AND bikes. I let anybody take it for a test ride after signing a responsibility form and letting me hold their drivers license. One of my buyers got pulled over and the cop followed him to my place to see the license, no problem.

Wouldn't this be more appropriate in the Private Sale/Classified section? After all, most people that visit the F2 section usually already own an F2 and are either looking for or looking to help someone.
