Is it safe? Will it effect the functionality of the helmet at all? I don't know if the finish on the helmet is designed to slide across pavement at x drag coefficient or whatever.... (HA!)

Basically, I picked up a helmet today. I had three options (I have a big head too). Black, black or black and red. My bike is red so I chose the black and red. I want to add some reflective strips or something to get a better visability for cars. Can I just grab some reflective tape and stick it on it? I couldn't care less what the helmet looks like. I want to be alive tomorrow to talk about how ugly my helmet is. :)

Edit: I picked up an HJC Phoenix mc5f... if anyone was wondering.

Decals are not going to hurt your new helmet.
