due to my friends stupidity my bike was dropped. i'm not sure if the scratches on the tail are more of a superficial scuff or scratch. wen i run my finger of them they don't seem deep. wats the best way to take these out w/o buying a new tail end

I have used a product from Meguiars called Scratch-X with a lot of success. It's a very mild product, unlike polishing compounds or rubbing compounds which are very abbrasive and can do more damage than good. The down side of being mild, it that it can take a fair amout of elbow grease to remove scratches. This, I think, give you more control over the final results without going too far.
