After some difficulty with the piston caps sliding off during the operation, I recently replaced front pads on my 87 Hurricane. They seem a bit snug but the wheel seems to turn OK. The brake light however is stuck on now, even though I have completely adjusted the adjuster for it. The brake lever does not go back as far as it used to. Also, I am now dripping brake fluid slowly on the right. Though I better post this b4 doing the whole job over again. Thank you for any response.

Sounds like you've lost pressure.

Sometimes you can over pressurize with the c-clamp and if the resovior cap is on it can cause that pressure to find it's way out of the system.

I would check and replace the crush washers and inspect the banjo bolts.  Where is the leak coming from?

P.S.  This is a, "How-To" section for detailed descriptions on a modification or maintanence prcedures.

Please read the sticky's at the top of each forum you enter!  This should be in the, "General Tech" section.

Good luck!
