I Have no experiance with the 08 but i had an issue with my o4 shifting into a false nutral in between 4th and 5th. when i haf my engine rebuilt mechanic showed me the gear cluster and that the dogs on the sides of the gear cluster and adjacent gear were realy worn down, causing the "false nutral". Changed worn parts. Transmission fells like new. smooth as smooth as silk.

I''ve noticed a similar issue on my ''08. It''s only happened a few times but then again I only have about 200 miles on it at best. Twice so far when shifting from 5th to 6th it seems to go into neutral lala land before grabbing. The first time - I thought it was me being lazy. The second time I was like WTF. Now that I''ve read this I''m even more like WTF!
