Looks good.
I see your carbon fiber is turning colors like mine.
Would look good painted black.

How does it sound?

Thanks! took i think around an hour...didnt really keep track....actually really easy to do im sure anyone with a drill, rivet gun, and hack saw,(and a lil mechanical know how) can do it. ya the exhaust and tail are awaiting a paint job. did you paint  yours i was thinking about it but not sure how it would turn out?

No, I haven't painted mine.
I'm not sure how it would turn out either.
I like the look of the carbon fiber...but no the look of how it changed color.
So I was thinking a high-temp flat black would look pretty sick.

So besides cutting it and replacing the end spout, was there anything else you did?

i had to remove a little bit of the fiber stuff in there to allow the end to seat in there and stay put. with out some of that stuff removed it would seat then get pushed back up before i could drill and rivet. ya i really want to paint it im sure it would keep the fiber look. I just have no clue how well the paint will stick to it. this is the first mod ive done to my bike though. next will be the undertail.

The carbon fiber itself isn't gold.
Mine is doing the same thing, thought it was just dirt, but couldn't get anything off with cleaners.
I was reading somewhere on here that is the clear resin they put on top of the fiber that is actually turning yellow.
I'm sure its just breaking down with time and exposure to heat and sunlight.
I thought it said there was something you could do to get it back to looking black...

Looks real good.  I have a Two Bro's C4 carbon can and mid pipe that did not turn yellow that I will sell for the right price.

I would love to have the shottie can on my bike, but my D&D is so damn loud as is it I don't want to make it louder.

Well the ironic part is my buddy has a c2 carbon can...and also i think they make the cans in black and silver. His is blacker than mine and it has not faded. Anyways back to what I was saying, I cut mine in half hopeing for a big increase in sound. Well it sounds just like his c2 full can. lol. So its not really that loud. Its so easy to cut bumblee bee. Not like your using your two bros anyways so do some experimenting lol. Unless you want the money for it.

I want the money for it and I love the sound and looks of my Polished D&D over the Two Bro's  I just have the Two Bros hanging on my garage wall never to go back on the bike.
