Take the MSF course in your area. End of story, it should be a requirement in any state.

That said, you NEED to watch every driver on the road, people just don't see you. My girlfriend said something the other day that made me laugh a little but is very true. She was driving back from her sisters house with her older sister and her fiance in the car with her. It was a long straight road and i was on my bike behind her. Naturally I opened it up and went flying by her. Her sister turned to her and said "doesn't it make you nervous when he rides his bike?" and she said "no, I don't worry about him, he knows what hes doing. I worry about every other driver on the road who doesn't watch for or see him."

I can attest to what she said on an almost daily basis.

Very nicely put!  Everyone is right, almost every cage is out to kill you, always be aware of that when you're riding.

On the other noe, very nice bike.  How long have ou had it that you were able to do this custom work on it?  Or did you purchase it fixed up as such?  Either way, as ruftags said, since you paid for it, you have a better appreciation for it and more respect for it.  Have fun and take good care of her!

I have a rear seat cowl that came with my bike but no hardware for it....I usally ride around with passengers so if you want it PM me, I don't know what they cost to be honest, but 30 plus shipping seems fair....

i think even ppl named Shaniqua don't know how it's spelled

that's why there's all those apostrophes... you know like Sha'ni'qua or sha'ni'q'ua... if only they all had names like !xobile where the ! is a <click> sound

thank you all for the great feedback. i am enrolled in a canadian MSF course and cant wait...one more week and ill will be starting and it only takes four days...i have already completed the in class portion. I will not ride the bike untill i complete it and having it in the garage is just killing me. Now my only problem is just holding off on upgrades untill i have a fair amount of money in the bank! i still need to save for university or else i would go nuts in the after market world! I am dying to do white seat covers, chrome honda decals and white rim tape. thank you for the awesome feed back and concer...my dad would not have alloud me to get a streetbike of any kind if he did not believe i was responsible or have self control...plus if i do ANYTHING wrong...bikes gone. And considering the bike stands out so much..i know if i speed once somebody will see and report it to him so i think ill stay in the slow lane for awhile.

Ooooooohhhh... your Canadian.. Well atleast you will only be able to ride it for like.. 3 months a year, that will allow you to do less stupid things on it till your older thats a good thing ;)

yeah if i had an f4i when I was 16 I would have either became a profesional stuner or died, most 16 year olds would.

Best of luck.

Uhh rojer the part about riding three months is almost true lol. A week ago it was + 20, now we have over ten centimeters of snow. God I hate alberta weather. At least my bike is still in the shop, otherwise i'd be way more anxious.

Not so sure that the title of this thread shows much maturity, but maybe I am just jealous.  Be safe dude...

I gave up riding for snowboarding when I moved north and it was almost as good.
