I just ran across this 07' r6 pipe last night on craigslist for $75.00 bucks, looks new. Went to Pepboys and picked up a 1 3/4 id. plain turn down tip (not chrome, made of plain pipe with a slight bend)$5.00. cut several inches off both sides of pepboys pipe, slid right into the r6 pipe perfectly. I flared the other end with a flare tool to slide over my header pipe and attached the pipe using original clamps (no welding). Made a bracket for the pipe out of a windshield wiper linkage piece. Sounds way sweeet!

Cool concept but I don't like the way it looks on there, Kinda sits at A weird angle or something. Never the less, good job. Hope your happy with it.

Why didn't you use the pipe designed for the 08 RR? If you like it then that is all the matters. I personally LOVE my Two Bros.!!!

Is a bit loud, I am sure I will get used to it. The main reason I went with that pipe is I found it for a good deal, thats about it. I had a stock pipe on there before with some dents and scratches, and it just hasn't been in the budget for a $400 pipe. Wanted that look, but also didn't find alot out there in that design. I will roll it for a while.....until it dies or I find something better.......lol.

Good job, sounds nice... it looks a little out of place but I think they look strange on the R6 anyway.

yeah, its alot louder than I expected to, then I got down and looked at my buddies r6 and noticed that the muffler is under the engine, that is just the resonator.

lean angle does look pretty bad...but sounds a lot nicer than i would have expected...

not my cup of tea though...when shorty cans are on new bikes, its tolerable...but shorty can on something that was originally designed in 01? looks off...im talking appearance wise though...i might be a little biased though cuz i hate shorty cans

lean angle looks bad, but I scrape knee with no prob. And it takes a big man to roll with a pipe that short

I cut my titanum Yoshi in half. Would post pic if i knew how. Mine still mounts in teh same place, it's just half the size. Way loud, but that's what i like.
QUESTION: Should my bike be running lean now? I also have a K & N filter. I wan to get a Power Commander, because it is drinking Gas. To me that sounds rich, but everyone else says, no it;s runing too lean and that unburnt fuel is pasing by, Hence smell of gas, and drinking gas. MAKE SENSE? If so, Id appreciate a response. Lean or rich?????

both conditions will  kill mileage. A lean condition can kill the motor tho. If its running rich you will have raw gas present on the plugs, in the pipe, and smoke and a ocassional back fire. With a lean condition plugs, valves, and pistons can burn. Plugs will have a white ashy look to them as compared to the tanish color it should be.

And from what you have done to your bike, it should have a lean condition (more air n not enough gas).
