zolor -> Hurricane Streetfighter for Sale (4/22/2008 10:40:37 PM)

What do you guys think of my latest project:  Hurricane Streetfighter

btw:  It is for sale

Up for sale here is a Honda Hurricane CBR600 F1 that has been converted into a custom streetfighter. I have owned this bike for over 5 years and I hate to let her go, but I've got too many other toys. The model year of this motorcycle is 1987 and the frame/mechanicals have about 18,000 miles on them but the engine has been replaced recently with a low mileage 1990 powerplant (~10,000 miles). This engine has been fully tuned and has recently had a valve adjustment, oil change (Amsoil Racing Synthetic), carb sync, timing adjustment, spark plug installation and it runs strong without hessitation. The tires are in good working order, however the rear tire is showing slight wear. This bike is in perfect working order and as you can tell by the pictures, it has been fully restored to better than new condition. This bike comes with a CLEAN Washington Title and registration. The asking price is $2400. Motorcycle season is steadily approaching and this is the perfect bike for street or for track use.

This following items have recently been applied/installed on this motorcycle:
  • NEW PPG 2-stage "Jet Black" paint job (basecoat/clearcoat)
  • NEW Vinyl Re-upholstered Seat Pan
  • NEW Vortex Sprocket Set (front/rear)
  • NEW DID Pro Racing Chain
  • NEW "Rumble Import" short stalk LED turn signals and LED License plate lights
  • Full Tune-Up (Amsoil Racing Synthetic)
This motorcycle features the following modifications:

  • Fully re-built Progressive Suspension front/rear springs
  • Vance and Hines Racing Exhaust System
  • K&N Performance Intake
  • Racing camshafts
  • DynoJet Stage II Jet Kit - 120 main jets
  • HEL braided stainless steel brake lines (front)
  • Napoleon "Bar End" mirrors
  • Suzuki SV650 front fender conversion
  • Suzuki GS500 instrument cluster conversion
  • Suzuki GS500 front headlight conversion
  • Honda VF700 "clips ons" handlebar conversion
  • Yamaha YZF R1 rear tailight conversion
Please feel free to email me if you are interested.

* Pictures are of "actual" motorcycle for sale.

* This sale is only for the Honda Hurricane Motorcycle

Nice work, but there are a coupple of things I would like to commnt on.

First off, I believe a streetfighter should have  moto-cross handlebars. Second, and just as important, a fighter need to have the Ducati 916 rear fairings/seat. If you can top it off with the 916 swingarm and wheel, you have the ultimate figther.

But again, nice bike!

looks good.
just a quick question for you.....what did you do to mount the license plate like that? you just use "L" Brackets from a hardware store or did it come ready to mount the plate with your turn signal assembly?
