Whats up guys Im about ready to put an exhaust on my 954 I am debating between the D&D or the Jardine they both run about the same price and was wondering if any of you guys had any one of these pipes on your bike.. I wanted to do a sound check to see which one sounds better. Thanks

the jardine will give you a better sound IMO, and the D&D will be so loud none will want to ride behind you.

If you go to sights and sounds section theres a sticky thread with the sound clips (hard to tell on computer though)

I've never owned a Jardine nor have I known anyone that has either.  I have owned a D&D and it was great.  Currently, I have an Akrapovic full system on my 954 and it works and sounds great.  It is a bit pricey though.

D&D is the loudest but definitely not the cleanest... you'll hear some exhausts that may sound better, but D&D has the most aggressive, most ridiculous sound.  I have had it on both of my bikes so far.

D&D are obnoxious pieces of loud crap.  That should wrap it up.  Cut the end of the stock pipe, pull the packing, rivet the cap back on, polish and you have a better exhaust than D&D.

Jardine....no doubt about it. Have yet to hear a bad sounding Jardine but I can't say the same for D&D (though I've heard some nice D&D's). I also think the quality of Jardine is better (the carbon fiber mufflers are gorgeous).

Definitely Jardine.  IMHO, it's a better quality piece.  If you just want to be loud & obnoxious, go with D&D.
