I went with the -1+2 on my bike and I can't stand it. I was rolling stock gearing forever and could ride 1st and 2nd at BP and now that I have converted to this gearing I can't hit BP anymore, It feels like a different bike all around. It so torquey (if thats a word) and is fast as hell.

So basically what Im asking is:::: When some of you made the switch was it an issue for you? When I bring her up it is so touchy and if I get it up I have to bring her back down with the brake or it's going over, if I don't give it as much Im chasing it to 100mph. I just think Im so used to riding the old gears it's odd to me.

The reason I switched was the ease of 2nd gear wheelies(from what I hear). I really have to give it to the 929 to get second up to BP on the stock set.

I have ridden -1 in front my whole bike life i think heh. I this year also went -1 +2. That lasted about all of 50 miles, i found it to be way too twitchy. I came right home and ordered a stock front immediatly, so now i am rocking just +2 rear which is basiclly what i was used to.

Yeah, those extra teeth on the back will definately help you for 2nd gear.  And yes it's twitchy and takes time to get used to.

Currently running -1/+5, and love it!  Friends I let ride it can't believe how much torque it has.

This summer I'm going with -1/+12 or -1/+17... haven't decided yet.  First one will still let me ride to and from... but the +17 tooth one would put me to pretty much just a parking lot bike.

More teeth!
