I heard that the no cut ones are more prone to break if the bike gets dropped espicaly the shogun ones the ones from the picture though look pretty nice. I personaly have the cut ones and they look good also not hard to do either

lockheart intuitive racing products..i havent seen any for the 07-08 that you have to cut the fairing out for..i dont see why 1 that you cut the fairing out for works better..i mean that sounds dumb as shit to me..could be true if so i'd like to hear the reasoning behind it..but untill that i call bull shit on that

basically all sliders are the same, so none are really better than any other. As long as they are made out of T-6061 aluminum and have delrin as the slider itself they are just as good as any other. Most no cut designs are not too far off from each other so structurally they should be just as good. However if you want the best protection then go with a full cut slider and although I currently run shogun I think I will be switching to the Woodcraft. I sell both and you can check them out here https://www.riverwayracing.com I know its kinda scary to think about cutting your nice new fairings and I felt the same back in the day but after doing it and seeing how easy it really is, I would recommend it if you have the notion of riding really hard on the street or doing the track. If you just like to cruise up and down the strip and hang out with friends then the no cut will do you just fine.

LIGHTNING PERFORMANCE Slider's is what I had when I crashed Foxy 1 on the highway at 70........and they worked brilliantly. I had Vortex on the second crash........and they were s**t. I have the Lightning Performance "No-cuts" now, but I really don't consider it a "bracket" that it uses to space the slider out from the fairings. It's an extremely thick and heavy piece of metal (about an inch thick) that only spaces it out about 1/2 inch from the mounting bolt. I've talked with a couple of the guys at the dealer, and they say they use the same ones on their track bikes and they've held up excellently. I paid $80, but I believe they went up to about $120 if I'm not mistaken.

The reason most racers and harder riders perfer the cut style is because when you go down on the no-cut style you are highly likley to crack the engine case or break a piece off entirely. I''ve seen it happen.
