The FAQ says to use the delete icon... but there isn't one.  Another post says "put 'delete this' in the subject line and a moderator will attend to it"... but if you've posted to a thread, you can't change the subject (and anyway I don't want to delete all the posts in the thread).  So can someone please advise how to get a mis-post deleted, and also update the FAQ.

Keep up the good work, guys!

You can change the subject line when you post in a thread, like I did on this one.

But most people do not know about or use that.  And it's not really noticed.  If you need your post deleted, the best thing to do is PM one of the mods and ask them to do it.  I have different buttons than you do, but I do believe you have the ability to delete your own posts.  I'll have to log in as a user to see.

No you cannot delete your own posts.  Thought you could.  You can edit and delete all of the text that you have typed, but still... just PM one of us and we'll take care of it for you.

Learn something new every day...!  Can't change subject line or add graphics with fast reply, but can do with normal reply.
