Oh she purrs... I think I had the idle up a bit high, I lowered it to about 1500RPM's and now you can definitely hear that cam, very cool sounding! I've done quite a bit of research on these bikes and everything I've read says that an exhaust is one of the last things to do, more importantly, it should only be done after carb upgrade or you'll see no difference. So far there's been an airbox mod done to it and I think because of that it's running a bit lean, which is probably what was responsible for my backfiring the other day in the trails. Gonna go adjust it now... I'll have pics of the new SS line and cleaned up tank in a bit. In any case, she's a romper! I wish I could figure out what the deal is with capturing video from my camcorder. For some reason WMM won't import the video - gonna figure that out today too

VERY nice. that thing should be a blast to ride. I wonder if Honda would buld something like that from the factory? Seeing as KTM has 3 Supermoto type bikes on their lineup, and Ducati brought out the HyperMotard Just a thought to further differentiate your CRF from a run of the mill dirtbike... One of my coworkers gat himself an XB12X Ulyses bout a month ago, but had the front fender (dirtbike looking thing) replaced with the front fender from the XB12R Firebolt (Sportbike hugger looking thing) and it TOTALLY transformed the look of the bike. I'm wondering if that look would work on your CRF....??

ORIGINAL: KidCr3nshaw Usually those fork guards are for inverted forks. They make them for standard forks but they look silly at the top of the fork - much better looking at the bottom. ahah i shouldve realized.

I have read quite a few reviews of critics praising the Ulysses as the only Buell worth owning. I think the hugger fender looks more stunt than moto... I dunno. I love the look of the stubby fender high off the tire. No CRF's here!

Here is a shot with the rashed up tank stickers off... Hatebreed - I think you've convinced me to get those guards. I did a fair amount of looking at XR customs last night and came across quite a few with the stock fork covers replaced with those Acerbis guards and they didn't look to bad. More importantly, they look better than those accordian style covers I'm cutting them off today!!! I'll have some more pics (of course) of that in a bit... Tires are almost scrubbed in completely!

WhiteDealership, yeah and to be fair, Suzuki makes a KILLER supermoto straight from the factory. The DRZ400S (<-- dual sport) and the DRZ450SM (<-- full blown supermoto). Aside from the KTM, Aprilia makes a MEAN supermoto with a swingarm that sort of resembles a 600RR. Actually, the Aprilia was sort of the inspiration for my bike, I've had a picture of my bike and the Aprilia on my keyboard to keep me motivated... Here's the DRZ450SM... And here is the Aprilia that I've had on my keyboard since this whoe thing started... I want one so badly...

I took the covers off and it looks a million times better... looks great, actually. I think I am going to go with the Acerbis style covers - Hatebreed FTW! Whaddya think? Looks more streety-style. I'm gonna get the front fender painted gloss black go with a black/red scheme...
