Hi ya all!

I am out in the market looking for a slimfit leather jackets.
I am looking at newenough.com.  I know this sounds dumb, but I don't like those huge bulky joe rockets that makes me look so huge.  Instead, I prefer slimmer ones.  It seems to me that SCORPION and ICON has few of those.  You guys know what I mean right?

Also, I live in Arizona, its SO SO hot during the summer.  Would leather jackets be the best for it? if not, what should I go for?

So, here is my question..

1.) Slimfit Jackets...Does anyone know which brand carry few of those?
2.) Is leather jacket the best way to go with the hot weather in Arizona?

Thank yall!!!

first have you tried any jackets at all? i'll get crap for this but i'll do it anyway.
many people swear by leather (it is definatly the best protection), others like the light weight & well vented textile jackets. there i a huge difference between the two, but it's all about personal prefference. you should definatly try some on, and for those who are going to attack me on this this decission is no different that people who choose to wear a helmet
or not i personally wouldn't do it but the individual must deside for themself. in my opinion the textile will breath way better than leather even though some leathers are vented(fairly
well) but w/that choise you will give up some protection. good luck in your decision..

I wear my leather jacket 80% of the summer, and have a mesh for the hot days.
as far as what you should get, thats your choice, leather will be the most protection, then textile, then mesh...and they basically are the hottest in that order as well...

as far as slimfit jackets...I am guessing you are talking about race fit? where there vey tight? I have an Icon jacket, and I love it b/c its exactly not that. Its a little loose and I can breath in it. I have a Tekn ic leather jacket that is race fit and its very tight...go try some jackets on and see what you like.

I had a lather jacket for the summer and two days later I returnd it cause t was so damn hot it it. I would preffer keeping couple of different riding jackets for different time of year. Leather is good and i have one it very nice I picked up at Daytona bike week. And then i have a mesh one for the hotter days.

From what I've tried on, the higher end brands tend to be Euro style, so they are a little tighter fitting around the chest and midsection.  Your best bets are the more expensive brands like A*, Dianese, etc.  Joe Rocket and Icon will probably be a looser fit.

And I would always recommend leather.
