Turn those idle screws in half a turn and see what happens. Make sure theyre all at about the same spot, too.

They're held on with blue loctite. If you grab 'em with a needle-nose or a vice- grip (softly) and GENTLY, SLOWLY work them from side to side they should come off after a while. Be careful because you don't want to bend the actual brass screw underneath.

Ok so i got the outside two off but the inside ones are a pain in the butt. Also i picked up some spark plugs today put them in, bike fires right up now, no choke, idles at 1400 rpms, but its still boggin and pops a bit  up to about 6k. The old sparks got a brownish burn look to them, i know thats not a good sign, but what sign is it lol?

Hey im trying to get those inside limiter caps off, but am having no luck is there any real good trick, or do i have to sit there and pull pull pull and nothing til it pops off?

ok so i gave up for the day on the inside limiter caps tried for literally an hour on one and about half hour on other, scratched then a bit but nothing major, i adjusted the outside too, there are at 2 3/4 turns.

also previous owner said it was jetted but when i was going through cleaning the carbs the main jets didnt have any numbers or anything on them to tell me what they are, is that strange or what?

Acetone (i.e. nail polish remover) is supposed to be able to remove loctite.

I think it's pretty safe, but I'd still be careful to not get it on anything painted/rubber/plastic etc. A little paintbrush or something would work to control where it's applied.

Ok so i thought i fixed the problems, new spark plugs, cleaned carbs, new r/r and it still dies while riding.
Ok heres what happened got it running yesterday everything same adjustment, and new sparks helped to make it fire up with no choke, i took it on a 23.7 mile ride no problems. Today I got about 5 miles and at 65 miles an hour i let off the throttle, bikes at 0 rpms, tried to start wouldnt start.
I look over and my chokes a bit on, idk if it flood from that or if i have other problems somewhere?

what gear and rpm were you at when it happened? If your bike is jetted, does that include needles? If so, 2 3/4 turns on the pilots seems like too much and you might have flooded it if in high-gear/low rpm. ... or you may have just ran out of fuel (oops). Perhaps a short in your kill-switch... I would make a list and start an elimination process of possible problems/solutions.. eventually you'll find it and laugh about it.

I was in 5th or 6th not positive around 6k or 7k  doing roughly 63 mph. I put clutch in and hit the brakes  and then rpm right to 0, tried to start it but it sounded really weak like battery was dead.
But something i noticed right before this was i put it in nutruel at the end of my street with turn signal on, and everytime the turn signal would blink it would dim the nuturel light, is that a short or battery or do i have to get another r/r? Battery is a gel, but its been ran down several times now, only 3 months old.

Oh and the jets i was looking at my pictures i took when it was apart one of the jets had a #35 on it, isnt that stock? But the others had nothing and look the same.

sounds like a bad ground, maybe in the brake light switch since it died when the brakes were hit.... something to look at no doubt

I put a new battery in due to i ran the old one into the ground several times, and everything seems normal. Could that have been the problem, the battery not taking a load?

maybe so, it could have not had enough to support the bike and when you hit the brakes it killed it.

Also due to the turn signal would flicker and the nutruel light would dim.
