I would like to have a 1098s but I don't know about ducati..some of the things you need to just perform a service is crazy! Ok timing belts....there isn't an automatic tension like what cars have been using since FOREVER..no you have to use a sonic detector that measures the frequency of the belt when you pluck it like a guitar string! lol. Then valves that they want you to remove the head to adjust for major services...ugh. But i heard the 1098 is a lot better compared to the 998 and 999. I think i'm starting to like the R1's something about it I just like whenever i ride one. I haven't had a hcance to ride the new CBR1000RR, or the new Kawi ZX10r, but Gsxr's and Busa's i have been on several. The joy of working at a dealership!
