I did a search but couldn't find any info. Is it possible and/or has anyone done a Dual exhaust conversion on their 600??? I have an 88 f1 and am wondering if its possible to do the conversion? Would the dual exhaust give any benefits on a 600 or would it just look cool, or would it hinder engine performance?
Im pretty good with welding and got my own setup. Any info would be awesome. Thanks

Please excuse the ignorance. But could you explain the 4-2-1 part a little more?

number of pipes that merge into other pipes...

4 pipes off the head down to 2 pipes...then down to 1 pipe.

No need, no advantages. It will be heavy and expensive. Save your money.

Last weekend I was at the dealer and they had on the floor the "Urban Graphic" 600RR that had an Arrow full titanium system on it that was done up dual...one exited under the seat and one up along the swingarm...it was BAD ASS!
