I'm looking to buy a decent 2 piece leather suit, which will be used for street riding 99% off the time, but can be taken to the track once or twice a year.  I am not an aggressive street rider by any means, but absolutely want the protection.

What do you guys think of this suit:

Does anyone have it?  Has anyone dealt with TopGearLeathers before?

I'm open to other suggestions as well - thanks!

I'm not sure if a complete suit like that is that necessary for street riding... i mean, yeah it cant hurt.  But imagine when it's gonna be 35C outside, u'D be glad to have lighter gear imo...

But it's a nice suit... Maybe a little too much Honda for my taste but still nice :)

I wear my leather year round, if its to hot to wear it its to hot to ride period. Suit looks good for the money. The Honda wings look generic but thats prolly a copyright issue. I would replace the dual density armor with CE rated. But $410 for a 2pc suit isnt bad at all.

LOL - Yeah, I'm not sure I want that much advertising on my gear, but I do want the protection.  They've got some other color options, but I am mainly concerned with the functionality of the suit.

I'm looking at this Joe Rocket suit (which has the CE rated protectors):

For my riding, is it worth it to spend an extra $130.00 on the JR?  I'd rather invest that money in a good pair of boots :)

Also looking at used gear, but haven't found anything in my size / taste yet.

Thanks!
