Stynk! just 1 word of warning. if your changing he loom be careful you get the same country spec. i have a 94 us model and it now has a UK 93 spec. had to change the light switch as well. US models dont have the option of turning the lights off when running, UK models do. i found out by mistake.

I think I might try and just replace the fried wires instead. It seems to just be the yellow ones going to the reg/rec which should be simple to replace and install a new connector. (I hope)

On another topic I was walking around my local autozone just looking around and found a $4 inline fuel filter that looks about the same as the $20 OEM one. I'm wondering if there's any problems with using that filter instead of the factory spec one. What's the worst that can happen?
