mygauge says im going 5 mph faster then im actually going. what does everyone think i should check? i have 32,1xx on it, do you think its just the cable or what? thanks ken

yea the front and rear are both 17's the sidewall in the front is an 80 but i dont think that would effect it

If your front is a 110/80-17 that's the right size. Remember though, that the second number is not the actual height of the sidewall, just a proportion of the width. 110/80-17 vs 120/80-17 the sidewall on the second tire will be (barely) bigger. Anyway, a bigger sidewall would make your speedo read too slow, not too fast. It's probably fine. Many manufactures build in a little "extra" on their speedo readings. If a manufacturer made a speedo that, say, read too slow and someone got a speeding ticket they could conceivably look for recourse with the manufacturer of the vehicle for the speeding ticket. If they build the speedos a tiny bit too FAST, they don't have this problem. ;)
