Last night a guy here in town was killed goin to fast and havin a girl pull out of a parking lot in front of him. The poor girl on the back of the bike was thrown 115 feet (luckily she survived so far). That in itself is horrible! The thing that just mortifies me is that the two bike with this guy took off as soon as he crashed! These two scum bags didn't try to help or even care if they died. I couldn't even begin to imagine leavin a fellow rider lay on the street like that. I don't care whether i was illegally ridin or doin something stupid. It isn't humanly decent! I am really just venting i guess. Hope I run into dip and shit sometime!

some ppl are just scum/lowlifes with no regard for anyone but thier self-centered selves.

I stop for any fallen rider as long as theres not a ton of others already stopped or EMTs etc already on the scene.

It was a low speed fall so i was lucky...  still recovering from my ankle and looking at new exhaust cuz it fell on that side lol

ive helped guys that dump their bikes on the street or freeway (in traffic) even when im in a car!!! i dont care if im "impeding" (perspective of cagers) traffic, but im actually "shielding" (perspective of downed rider) traffic...

those other two attempting to live with themselves for the rest of their life is punishment enough ...and somewhere along the way, karma will take place and their wives/kids are gonna die while some ppl ditched them at time of need...yes, i am just that duranged...

I can honestly say I can't ride like an ass when I have a girl on the back. I don't want to be at fault for hurting or killing her. Hell even if she just got a small rash scar on her leg or arm or mid drift it would prolly become a problem for her when she wants to wear short shorts, a skirt or anything revealing that part of her body......Even if they say they don't care, I could never do that to her.

how about not going two up? im sorry, but i am the only one in my group firmly against going two up...in the streets!!! let alone the show boats that blast around with their friends in the twisties...like its some ****in group date...not to mention most the douches that love going two up give their gf cheap, old ass helmets that dont fit correctly...my close gf had an ex that loved going two up with her and bought her a cheap little helmet with "cute" graphics on it...it was a size or two too big, but what does it matter, right? made me sick and i bitched her out every time she went with him...

i used to go two up back in the day, but havent ever since...and refuse to...took my damn pegs off, im making sure it doesnt happen...im pretty stubborn, but when it comes to this subject, im an ass...

Don't know about gear. But the dumb ass was doin over 90mph and popin wheelies. The 17 year old driver probably thought she had plenty of time to pull out. Doin 90 he was probably 3 blocks away when she started to pull out of the parking lot. It was also just getting dark outside. RIP Nick.

OK, I agree you just don't leave a fallen rider there are no buts or what ifs.  It's just not done.  I went down back in March and my buddies were there for me and since then I try to ride in the back of the group.  This is due partly to me still being pretty gun-shy on the bike and also due to the fact that I'm an EMT.  I want to be there if something happens since I know what to do.   I have to say my whole group of riding buddies is really good about watching out for each other.  Anytime we ride there is sort of an unofficial buddy system in place.  You keep up with your buddy and where he is so you know if he comes up missing.  It's just a smart way to ride as far as I'm concerned.  Also, something else no one in my group makes fun of anyone else.  Everyone rides at there own skill level and there is no pushing someone to ride above there level or acting stupid when we are on a group ride.   Because one idiot in the group can effect the whole group.  Well, enough said.    Also any Kentucky riders need to check out www.kentucky-sportbikes.com .  I’m not trying to steal members from this forum just want to get the guys in KY on our forum as well.  I’m on both and while I don’t post a lot I do try to read and watch what’s going on.    Have a good ride! Matt
